Mission Statement
At Pacific Pathways Speech Therapy, our mission is to support individuals and families on their unique communication journeys by providing compassionate, individualized, evidence-based, and neuro-affirming speech-language therapy. We believe every person deserves a clear, confident voice and the opportunity to connect meaningfully with others.
Our approach is rooted in collaboration, respect, and relationship-building. We work closely with clients and their families to develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their goals, strengths, and individual needs. Whether supporting infants just beginning to explore language, school-aged children facing speech and literacy challenges, or adults refining their communication skills, we meet each client where they are—guiding them along a supportive pathway toward growth.
Through clinical excellence, continuous learning, and a commitment to inclusive, neuro-affirming care, Pacific Pathways is dedicated to helping every individual thrive on their path to effective communication.

Our in-home speech therapy services offer families the convenience and comfort of receiving care right where they live. By working with children in their most natural environment.
-
Our telehealth services offer a convenient and accessible option for families who prefer remote therapy. Delivered securely via Zoom, telehealth provides a safe and effective way to receive quality speech therapy from the comfort of your home.
Articulation/Phonology
Articulation refers to how we produce speech sounds with our mouth, lips, and tongue. Phonology involves the patterns and rules of sounds in speech. Individuals with difficulties in these areas may be hard to understand or may replace, leave out, or mix up certain sounds.
Language Disorders
Language is how we understand and use words to communicate. This includes vocabulary, grammar, following directions, asking questions, and telling stories. Language difficulties can affect both how an individual understands others (receptive language) and how they express themselves (expressive language).
Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
AAC includes tools and strategies—such as picture boards, communication apps, or speech-generating devices—that support individuals who have difficulty using spoken language. AAC can supplement or, in some cases, replace speech, and is always tailored to each person’s unique communication needs. Backed by research, AAC has been shown to enhance communication, support language development, and improve overall quality of life.
Early Intervention
Early Intervention provides support for babies and toddlers (birth to age 3) who may be experiencing delays in speech, language, or other developmental areas. It focuses on building strong communication skills during the most important years of brain development, and it often involves play-based therapy and coaching for families to support progress at home.
Autism Spectrum Disorder
ASD is a developmental condition that can affect how a person communicates, interacts with others, and processes the world around them. Every person with autism is unique. Speech therapy can support communication, social skills, and daily interactions in meaningful ways.
Parent Education/Coaching
At Pacific Pathways Speech Therapy, we believe that parents are essential partners in a child’s communication journey. Our Parent Education and Coaching services are designed to empower families with the tools, strategies, and confidence to support their child’s speech and language development every step of the way.
Fluency
Fluency, also known as stuttering, refers to the flow and rhythm of speech. Fluency difficulty may include repeating sounds or words, stretching out sounds, or getting "stuck" when speaking. Therapy helps reduce tension, build confidence, and support smoother speech.

We begin with a personalized consultation to understand your concerns and communication goals. This no-pressure conversation helps us determine whether a full evaluation is the right next step for you or your loved one.
Evaluation
Our evaluations are tailored across the lifespan—from toddlers to adults—and combine standardized assessments, clinical observation, and your input to get a clear picture of strengths and challenges in speech, language, or communication.
Treatment
If therapy is recommended, we design a customized treatment plan with evidence-based goals. Whether supporting early language development, refining articulation, or rebuilding communication skills after injury, our sessions are meaningful, collaborative, and results-driven.
